Methodology
Source population. Clinics are sourced from the CMS National Provider Identifier (NPI) Registry and Google Business profiles, then verified to have a working website mentioning weight loss or GLP-1 services. The directory contains 9,701 verified providers as of April 2026.
Inclusion criteria. A clinic is included in this snapshot if it (a) prescribes tirzepatide or semaglutide (branded or compounded), (b) operates a telehealth program available to patients in the listed state, and (c) publishes a monthly program price range. States with fewer than three qualifying clinics are excluded to avoid thin or skewed data.
Aggregation. For each qualifying state, the median monthly low and median monthly high are calculated across all qualifying clinics in that state. The cheapest published low is the minimum monthly low across the same set. Median values smooth outliers more reliably than means.
What is excluded. Manufacturer self-pay programs (LillyDirect Self Pay, NovoCare Self Pay), retail pharmacy cash prices, insurance-covered copays, and Savings Card pricing are not included. This snapshot reflects telehealth program pricing only.
Limitations. Self-reported clinic prices may not reflect actual fulfillment cost after dose escalation or shipping. Prices change month over month and are accurate as of the generation date. Geographic coverage is limited to states where at least three qualifying clinics publish pricing.
